We are a team of very experienced qualified child passenger safety advisors. We all run our own websites and Facebook pages and use our collective knowledge to give you the best advice possible.
If you have any questions about your existing car seats, about how to choose your next one, or anything car seat related at all, you can ask them on our Facebook group. The group is very busy and we have an approval system. When you ask your question it will go into a queue and one of us will answer it as soon as possible. At very busy times we may close posting for a few days to give us time to clear the backlog, but please be patient, we work very hard to answer all your questions as soon as we can. Please click on the Facebook logo to be directed to the group.

"I have been interested in car seats ever since I learned to drive more than 20 years ago when the first two of my seven children were four and two. In early 2012 when I was looking for a new car seat for my youngest son who was a very big baby, I discovered extended rear facing. I immediately bought new car seats for my older two who were nearly five and three-and-a-half at the time. They had both been in forward facing car seats since they were about 14 months old and I was quite annoyed with myself that it had taken me this long to find out about extended rear facing, and quite cross that the information wasn't more widely available. I did lots more research to build up my knowledge and started advising other parents on social media. In 2013 I set up my own Facebook Page and founded Rear Facing Toddlers, a small business specialising in extended rear facing car seats. I am based in South London and my work as a car seat expert for Good Egg Safety has taken me all over the country. I hold accredited Child Seat Awareness certificates from the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and the Transport Research Laboratory." |

"I have two daughters. When my eldest was 2 I started working for a high street retailer. I soon found a passion for car seats! I started to research more, especially when on maternity leave with my younger daughter and I determined that she was going to stay rear-facing until at least 4 years old. In 2015 I began working as a car seat expert for Good Egg Safety, checking car seats for parents all over the UK. Later on that year I also became a consultant for Securatot, a company that specialised in extended rear-facing seats. I have advised many parents in person and online by email as well as on social media. I'm a big advocate of rear-facing for as long as possible, my eldest daughter has just outgrown her rear-facing seat, but my youngest will be rear-facing for a few more years yet." |

"I’m a mother of 3, originally from Norway but moved to England in 2010. ERF was not new to me, but the fact that England had little to offer and the norm being to Forward Face from 9 months old I decided something had to be done and I created my blog 'A Rear Facing Family' to help educate and spread awareness to other UK parents. Since July 2015 I have been an accredited child car seat expert and I have completed the ‘Advanced Child Car Seat Training Course – CPD Accreditation’ with TRL (Transport Research Lab) and Good Egg Safety. I work with other experts in the field on a daily basis – this way I can keep up to date in this jungle we call child seats & regulations. I also work as a freelancer through my blogging and Facebook. From my home I offer car seat consultations for a fee which can be booked via my Facebook page or email." |

"I'm a busy mother, working part time, married, have 4 kids, 2 cats and have a big passion for cars. I originally became car seat obsessed when I found out about Extended Rear Facing in 2011, whilst my own child was then facing forward! Upon finding this life saving information out, I embarked on massive amounts of research and decided to set up the Facebook page, Rear Facing - The Way Forward, to try and raise awareness of the safest way for kids to travel, so other parents were informed unlike I was back then. Moving on to 2018 and my page is now very successful, With over 13.5k "likes" which I'm more than proud of, but more important to me is that I'm helping other people make the right choices for their little ones."

"I’m a busy mum who runs a small car seat business, specialising in extended rear facing seats and the safest high back boosters. I have 9 years experience, having imported my first seats from Sweden before they were available in the UK, so I’m very passionate about car safety."

I'm a mum and a science educator, and when it was time to choose my infant son's next car seat, I was amazed to find out how much safer extended rear facing is than forward facing. I was also horrified to find out how many mistakes I'd made with him in his infant car seat! Now I'm both a professional and volunteer child seat advisor, passionate about helping other parents and caregivers learn how to keep their children safer in cars.
